The National Hospitality Institute (NHI) is a non-profit educational foundation focused on safe, responsible, efficient and effective management in the hospitality industry. Created by sellers and servers of beverage alcohol, NHI offers programs developed from the unique perspective of industry veterans and insiders. NHI programs include:
Techniques of Alcohol Management(TAM)® -- Seller/server training.

Liquor Licensee Training SeminarTM –- An in-depth review of the hospitality industry aimed at new owners and managers featuring liquor laws, employment issues, music licensing, best practices and more.
Michigan Liquor Law Enforcement Training Seminar™ -
Training for Law Enforcement: What you need to know about Michigan liquor law and the licensing process. This eight-hour MCOLES-approved class is for all law enforcement officers that enforce the Michigan Liquor Code. The course will start with licensing and a complete overview of the application process. Officers will gain an in-depth knowledge of Michigan liquor laws. The class will continue with a community-based approach to working with licensed establishments to reduce and prevent calls for service. Officers will learn how the objection and renewal process works and what role law enforcement has in the process. Officers will leave with a better understanding of the MLCC licensing process and Michigan liquor laws. Click here
